Training in the face of entrepreneurial forms of activity

Abstract

Entrepreneurial forms of activity are playing an increasingly important role in the world of work, as evidenced by the growing number of start-ups, particularly small and micro-businesses. Whatever the concrete forms that these creations take, they are contributing to the gradual transformation of work and the ways in which it is defined. This article explores the entrepreneurial forms of activity revealed by these micro-enterprises and the way in which they question the training and/or support needs of micro-entrepreneurs. The article is based on research commissioned by a consular chamber seeking to gain a better understanding of the activities and skills of micro-entrepreneurs.
