Abstract
This book, edited by Thierry Perreau and Richard Wittorski, aims to elucidate the terms of a complex debate on the links between work and training and to present a synthesis of the existing literature that is also critical in nature. It considers the changing nature of work and the ways in which adult education is responding to these changes. It also addresses the goals that training should be pursuing in the present era. These are the questions that the authors invite us to ponder.
