From “researching with care” to “researching with audacity”

Abstract

Promoting social justice is a current challenge of the scientific research in general and the field of adult education in particular. Working towards such a promotion, one must take into consideration the possibility of a cognitive justice. In this regard and by this contribution, I show why the ethics of care in research - as a base of a research position (researching with care) - has some limits and then I develop another position called researching with audacity.

Keywords: audacity, care, cognitive justice, conscientization, participation, research as resistance.
