Haddad, R. (dir.). (2023). L’écriture inclusive : et si on s’y mettait ? Le Robert.

Abstract

Raphaël Haddad defines inclusive writing as 'a set of editorial attentions that ensure equal representation of women and men' (p.19). The coordinators of this issue of the journal TransFormations have chosen this writing practice to concretely inscribe the subject of equality, a choice that we felt was essential - issue 26 dealt with perspectives of care - and daring because of the diversity of the contributions. As copy editor, we conducted an inventory of current practices and debates in order to provide them with the best possible support. Our work has led to some great discoveries, including this 'guide' for a wide audience.
